Winners of Arts & Performance Award

Published:

We’re delighted to reveal that we, along with Elsie Kelly, have been presented with the top accolade within the ‘Arts & Performance’ category at the 2019 Liverpool Echo Awards.

Hundreds of guests gathered at Liverpool’s Titanic Hotel on 20th September to see us presented with the prestigious award, recognising our commitment to the arts sector thanks to the hard work put in week after week by our dedicated performers and off-stage teams.

The ECHO Awards, held in partnership with SP Energy Networks and presented by original Big Brother winner Craig Phillips and Hollyoaks actress Jessica Fox, once again celebrated all that is great about our region.

The award recognised that BOST has been an integral part of the Liverpool City Region arts scene over the past 93 years and this award win was aptly timed to reflect our creative achievements under the direction of Elsie Kelly, who had been BOST’s Resident Director for almost half of this time, before retiring earlier this year.
