First established in 1926, BOST has grown into a thriving company with a membership base of over 100.
Many former members have gone on to make a successful career within the industry as performers, choreographers, directors and musical directors.
To honour their achievements across the professional world of stage and screen, we have created a ‘Wall of Fame’, which is now proudly on display in our headquarters.
Famous faces who have graced the stage with BOST include Con O’Neill (currently starring in Sky Atlantic’s Chernobyl), Meg Johnson (best known for playing Pearl Ladderbanks in ITV’s Emmerdale) and Valerie Masterson (English opera singer, lecturer and Vice-President of British Youth Opera.)
Other notable performers include home grown talent including Ray Quinn, Stephanie Davis and Richard & Adam Johnson, not to mention tap dancing sensation Graeme Henderson.
BOST’s alumni also boasts a number of creative professionals including West End Director Alastair Knights, International Choreographer Ben Clare and Composer Benjamin Wallfisch.
We’re looking forward to seeing who will be the next big thing!
