Last weekend, our Concert Party entertained a full audience at their favourite regular haunt for afternoon concerts ~ the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum.
A new venue for us, we were delighted to bring a broad range of West End and Broadway Musical Theatre hits to the Gallery. Solos, duets and group songs presented the wonderful melodies of Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Rogers & Hart – and Hammerstein! – and Frank Wildhorne amongst others.
Each Sunday afternoon during the summer, musicians play or sing to an appreciative audience at the Summer Serenades, the programmes bringing a wonderful array of music of mixed genres, be they classical, contemporary, or somewhere in between. BOST was more than pleased to have the opportunity to bring our sound to the local audience in Birkenhead, our home town.
