SHOWS RESCHEDULED

In an effort to give some clarity and certainty to our audiences and members alike during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are rescheduling our planned productions now, rather than waiting for government announcements regarding the lifting of restrictions.

Our forthcoming production dates will now be as follows:

WHEN THE LIGHTS GO ON AGAIN

@ Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, Wirral in May 2021
– Friday 14th May (evening)
– Saturday 15th May (matinee & evening)
– Sunday 16th (matinee)

This musical is set during the days of World War II and takes audiences through the quirks, humour and tragedy of everyday life on the Home Front during the war, culminating in a joyous VE Day street party.

Very much a trip down memory lane for some, the musical is pure nostalgia and recalls the feelings of the era by following the Parker family and their local community during the war efforts. The musical features over 30 classic songs, including “The White Cliffs of Dover”, “Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree” and of course, “We’ll Meet Again”.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT TICKETS FOR THE SHOW’S NOW-CANCELLED NOVEMBER 2020 DATES, YOUR TICKETS WILL STILL BE VALID FOR THE NEW DATES NEXT YEAR.  PLEASE JUST ADVISE US WHICH NEW PERFORMANCE DATE YOU PREFER AND WE WILL TRANSFER YOUR BOOKING OVER. ALTERNATIVELY, REFUNDS CAN BE GIVEN.

LERNER & LOEWE IN CONCERT

@ St George’s Hall Concert Room, Liverpool, in October 2021
Sunday 10th October (matinee & evening)

In the magnificent surroundings of the St George’s Hall Concert Room, we will be celebrating the music and lyrics of those two giants of musical theatre, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe.

The Concert will feature highlights from their well-loved musicals Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon, My Fair Lady, Gigi and in particular, the legendary Camelot.

Our patron, the internationally-renowned actress Liz Robertson, widow of Alan Jay Lerner, will join us again, adding to the entertainment with tales to tell, including personal anecdotes and reminiscences.

SHREK, THE MUSICAL

“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek…” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty  princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairytale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand…and his name is Shrek.

This show brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage, and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears.
