NODA nominates BOST again

Published:

Having performed two Musicals during the last year, it seems that we have been up against ourselves as well as against the many other Societies belonging to NODA! With this in view, we are thrilled to have received nominations for both productions.

For CRAZY FOR YOU at the Empire Theatre last May:
Chris Simmons is in the running for “BEST SUPPORTING MALE ACTOR IN A MUSICAL” for his role of Bobby Child,
Kate Cobb’s nomination is for “BEST CHOREOGRAPHY”, having set all the tap routines as well as the other dances throughout the Show.

CRAZY FOR YOU itself has been nominated in the “BEST MUSICAL” category. This is our third consecutive show to have received a nomination for this award, beginning with “The Scarlet Pimpernel” which won the category in the 2008-9 season.

For JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Floral Pavilion in October:
Linzi Stefanov has been nominated for “BEST LEADING FEMALE ACTOR IN A MUSICAL” for her role as Mary Magdalene.

The winners will be announced in May at The NODA Northwest Awards Evening in Blackpool, attended by over 450 musical theatre enthusiasts.
