NODA North West has published its list of nominations to celebrate the best of the region’s Amateur Theatre in 2012. We are proud to say that BOST has once again received a nomination for BEST MUSICAL, this time for “OLIVER!” which we staged at the Floral Pavilion last May.
As major characters in that show, LINZI STEFANOV and TONY PRINCE have received nominations for their portrayals of NANCY and FAGIN, respectively.
Our second production of 2012, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, has also been honoured with nominations. One is for our Chairman MERYL LANGFORD who played the MOTHER ABBESS and another for 7 yr old EMMA HALL who charmed the audiences at the Empire in November as little GRETL.
BOST members will be attending the NODA Conference held in Blackpool in May. The Awards Banquet is, of course, the highlight of the weekend, when the winning nominees are announced and presentations made.
