Linzi sings of a new life…

Published:

With only a week and a half to go now until  JEKYLL & HYDE’s opening night, our rehearsals are really hotting up.

Listen to Linzi singing an emotional solo as “Lucy” by clicking on the following link:  https://www.facebook.com/BOSTmusicals/videos/1030089487042670/

The level of presentation is getting nearer and nearer to the desired BOST performance standards, as director Elsie Kelly and musical director Trish Gaskell tweak details and demand yet more energy, empathy and passion from us all, whether a Principal player or the newest member of the Ensemble.

The three leading players, Chis Simmons, Linzi Stefanov and Gina Phillips, are earning applause from the Company, for their sensitive portrayals and some of us quietly dab our eyes at the story’s emotional peaks.  And all this in the rehearsal hall, without costumes, set or atmospheric lighting!

I so wish I could see the show in its completeness, in the theatre…  but no, as one of the Ensemble, I wouldn’t give up a single performance, even if I was offered the chance!
