We are looking for a number of talented boys and girls of Primary School age to take part in our April 2015 production of WHEN THE LIGHTS GO ON AGAIN in Port Sunlight’s Gladstone Theatre.
This nostalgic show is set towards the end of the 2nd World War and contains many of the well-known songs from the era. It reminisces about the way the ordinary people at home dealt with aspects of life during the war years, when friendship and humour were so important, and ends with a street party scene celebrating the end of hostilities. This is BOST’s contribution to the nation-wide 70th anniversary commemorations of the end of WWll in May 1945.
Children who wish to audition should be brought to our rehearsal hall in Clifton Road, Birkenhead, for 11am on Sunday, 18th January. If possible, they should be familiar with the old song, Run Rabbit Run.
One of the boys and one of the girls who are successful will be cast to play the children of the featured family in the show.
Directions to Alexander Hall are to be found on the Contact Us page of this website.
We look forward to seeing you on Jan 18th.
