Charlotte trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre and graduated in 2000 with a Diploma in Performing Arts and ISTD teaching qualifications. In 2005 she returned to her training at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks in Blackpool. Some of her performances include “Robin Hood” and “Babes in the Wood” (Rhyl Pavilion), “The Echo Awards” (Liverpool King’s Dock), “Cinderella” (Grimsby Auditorium), “Cabaret Showcase” (Blackpool Winter Gardens) and “Robinson Crusoe” (Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal Big Top).
Charlotte won the Merseyside Dance and Drama Choreographic Award in 2000 and has gone on to choreograph many shows for Castaway Youth Theatre, including “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Oliver!”, “Copacabana”, “Honk” and “Pirates of Penzance”. Currently Charlotte teaches dance at Stagecoach Theatre Arts Chester, and through Stagecoach she has been children’s choreographer for professional touring productions of “Evita”, “Half A Sixpence” and “Whistle Down the Wind”. Charlotte first joined BOST in 2005 when she played Erma in our production of “Anything Goes”, and returned in 2010 to choreograph “Jesus Christ Superstar”. She has worked on all our shows since then and is delighted to have been nominated for a NODA award for her choreography of “Beauty and the Beast” at the Liverpool Empire last year.
