BOST’s New President

Published:

We are delighted to announce that Brian Corfe will be the new president for Birkenhead Operatic Society Trust. He will be taking over the role from Aldham Robarts, whom we would like to give an extra special thank you for all his wonderful support over the years. Brian Corfe is already a patron for BOST so we knew he would be the perfect candidate to fill Mr Robart’s very prestigious shoes. We are so pleased that Brian has accepted.

Brian has spent all his working life in construction and real estate. He is a FCIOB, FASI and a MRICS. Amongst other positions he is a group managing director of Donelon Tyson PLC, Birchen House Group and also a director of the Balfour Beatty PLC. Brian is a trustee and fellow of Liverpool John Moores University and during his spare time he likes to run marathons. He has already completed 3 London marathons, 2 New York and not forgetting Liverpool also.

Brian has also found time out of his busy schedule to perform in a few BOST shows in the past including ‘The King and I’ and ‘Hello Dolly’ and he might even be tempted to tread the boards again with us in future. We would like to thank him for already being a great supporter of BOST and we hope he enjoys his new role in the BOST family.
