We are soon holding a set of open auditions for our production of Lionel Bart’s ever-popular OLIVER!, to be staged at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th November, 2017. All auditions are being held at our headquarters – Alexander Hall, 24A Clifton Road, Birkenhead, CH41 2SG.
The major adult roles of Fagin, Nancy, Bill Sikes, Mr Bumble and Widow Corney will be auditioned on the evening of Tuesday 13th June, starting at 7pm.
The other adult characters, Mr & Mrs Sowerberry, Mr Brownlow, Mrs Bedwin, Dr Grimwig, Streetsellers and Old Sally will be auditioned from 7 o’clock on the evening of Thursday 15th June, as will the teenage roles of Bet, Charlotte and Noah Claypole.
Open auditions for boys with unbroken voices will be held at 11 am on Sunday 25th June, to find not only Oliver and the Artful Dodger, but also all the boys from the Workhouse and in Fagin’s Gang. All boys will audition together at 11am. Any boys interested in taking part in the show are encouraged to attend, and we hope to cast both Oliver and the Artful Dodger on this day.
