“ANNIE” ~ Children’s Open Auditions ~ DATES

Published:

DATES HAVE NOW BEEN SET for the open auditions to find our Annie and her orphan friends !

According to the script, the oldest orphan in “Annie” is 13 years old.  Therefore, girls will need to be, or appear on stage to be, no older than this.  Annie herself is scripted to be 11, and she has several younger friends too.

The initial auditions will major on singing ability.  Later rounds will then involve acting and movement skills.

They are to take place at the EMPIRE THEATRE on

Saturday 28th June, at 9am  and

Sunday 29th June, also at 9am.

A dedicated email address will be posted on this website before the end of May.

Please use it to pre-register your intention for your daughter(s) to attend these auditions.

Pre-registrations for girls by dance/drama schools, etc are also welcome.

Please do not email BOST ahead of this, as you will be sent a confirmation email upon pre-registration which will give all the necessary information regarding the auditions.

“Annie” will be performed at the Liverpool Empire Theatre on 27th ~ 30th November, 2014.

Weekly rehearsals will be held throughout the season, and Sunday afternoons will be added from mid October.

We look forward to meeting you all at the Empire in June.
