A full concert, featuring a celebration of Liverpool’s 800th Anniversary through the music of various cultures which contributed to the history and development of Liverpool, making it the city we know today.
Enjoy songs belonging to her seafaring and trading heritage, the language of Welsh immigrants, the traditional style of dance imported with Irish arrivals, and Liverpudlian songs of The Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers. Items from the local musicals, ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘Twopence to cross the Mersey’ also feature.
