2019 SHOW ANNOUNCED

Published:

We are delighted to be returning to the Liverpool Empire Theatre, from May 16th-18th 2019, where we will be staging Jerry Herman’s all-singing & dancing musical extravaganza, ‘HELLO, DOLLY’!

This fun, feel-good show was, for a time, the longest running musical in Broadway history.  It clocked up 2,844 performances, starring Carol Channing in the title role.

Dolly has since been played by many leading ladies of their day, including Mary Martin and Ethel Merman on Broadway and Barbra Streisand in the 1969 movie.

Recently revived on Broadway, Bette Midler wowed audiences as the effervescent Dolly, breaking box office records along the way.  The Show won the Best Revival Tony Award, to add to the previous well-deserved 9 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, from its former outings.

We at BOST can’t wait to be “back where we belong!”
