As 2016 is such a momentous year in our Society’s history (well, we will only be 10 years off our Centenary!) we are planning two spectacular productions, to which we are inviting YOU to help us celebrate!
Firstly, May will herald a pair of Gala Concerts, packed wall-to-wall with show-stoppers and crowd favourites from West End and Broadway shows past and present, showcasing all that is good about musical theatre. We will be presenting these Concerts in the Wallasey and Liverpool Town Halls. Proceeds will be donated to the Charities supported by our own Mayor of Wirral and the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
Following that, towards the end of November 2016, we will bring to you the new stage-show version of Irving Berlin‘s spectacular, feel-good and much-loved movie classic WHITE CHRISTMAS, at the Empire Theatre. This iconic show is full of hummable songs such as the familiar Sisters and Blue Skies, not forgetting White Christmas itself, which is famous for being, even now, both the biggest-selling song in history (sung originally by Bing Crosby) and the most-recorded song ever!
