BOST presents ‘Stars In Their Eyes’

Published:

Saturday 29th July 2017

Well, what a fabulous night we had at BOST HQ with our own rendition of Stars In Their Eyes.  We even had our very own ‘Tonight Matthew’ with Matthew Furness making his hosting debut and an excellent job he did of it too.

Each contestant greeted the audience through a smoke-filled doorway to reveal the act they “were going to be tonight.”

This was our superstar line up, hoping to win the all-important Stars In Their Eyes trophy:

Adele – Laura Steventon

Bette Midler – Stephanie Guidera

Burl Ives – Arthur Vaughan

Elton John – Barry Miller

Eva Cassidy – Lucy Jackson

Jim Reeves – John Coyle

Nana Mouskouri – Gina Phillips

Spice Girls – Elizabeth Beattie, Lucy Furness, Rebecca Nielson, Laura Steventon

Tom Jones – Tony Prince

We would like to add special thanks to Meryl, Annie and all those who helped to cater the event, Netta for meeting and greeting our guests on the door, Dan and Tash for lighting and smoke effects and to Adam who did an exceptional job with the audio/visual support.

The audience cast their votes and our winner of the night was Tony Prince, with his hip-swivelling performance as Tom Jones.

Tony will also be performing as Fagin in our upcoming production of ‘Oliver!’ from 9th – 12th November.  Tickets are on sale now!

Thank you for all those who attended and supported this event.

We had a great time and hope you all did too.
